Thank you for answering👍 The red and Grey is the sandisk ultra. Which is a A1 card. The sandisk extreme is a faster A2 card. Those are the ones giving most problems. I've been getting reports that sandisk ultra (A1 cards) are working well with the ally👍. They are however for my kind of gaming (and patience😅) unfortunately to slow.

A tool like H2testw will try and fill the entire card with data, then read that data back (Be prepared; for a 1TB card that can take a long time—writing 1TB of data to fill up the card at 83.125MB/s will take 3.3 hours, reading/verifying the data at 90.09MB/s will take another 3.1 hours. Let it run overnight!)
My understanding is the only difference (when it comes to Steam Deck usage) between the cheaper SanDisk Ultra and the more expensive SanDisk Extreme are their write speeds—their read speeds both cap at just slightly under 90MB/s. So playing games from the Ultra vs Extreme microSDs will be a near identical experience?

It might not quite have the same times as the in-built NVMe SSD, but this is nearly top of the range for the Steam Deck. The capacity here is 512GB.
